About Lady Kandace and Lady KB Bath & Body!

Lady KB was founded by Kandace Ballard. She studied  Biology and Chemistry at both the University of Colorado at Denver, and Metropolitan State Collage now known as Metropolitan State University. Kandace has a love for science and math. Even made a few bars of soap in some of her chemistry labs, not knowing, that it would become a passion, hobby and soon to be a fun side hustle years later.

 

 Like many women, Kandace appreciates luxury bath and body products, make-up, shampoos and conditioners.  In her younger years, never really cared or thought to read the labels. In Kandace’s 20’s her doctor had recommended that she stay away from certain types of products, as she had skin issues from some of them. Free spirited, she ignored those suggestions.

As she approached her forties, Kandace’s skin sensitivity increased significantly. It was time to make some changes. Some small changes to what she puts on her skin. She wanted to find products, that did not have hormones, chemicals, and other ingredients that required looking them up to understand what was in them.  So, she started with making her own soaps. The first bar of soap that was made by Kandace, was our 

Coconut Milk Soap. The passion exploded from there. Thus, our company was formed.
